Charles Nunda

Dr Charles Lisasi Nunda is a Congolese medical doctor trained in Bukavu, Eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, where he completed his medical education at the Université Évangélique en Afrique and his final-year internship at Panzi General Referral Hospital. He has strengthened his clinical and emergency response skills through additional professional training, including practical first aid and emergency care programs delivered by the Red Cross of the DRC. His professional experience includes service in conflict-affected and hard-to-reach areas of South Kivu, where he has worked in rural and referral hospitals in Kaniola, Walungu, Bunyakiri, and Kalehe, contributing to clinical care, public health supervision, and vaccination campaigns, including yellow fever prevention. Dr Nunda has also been involved in community health research and child health initiatives, including studies on childhood hypertension and nutrition-focused interventions for vulnerable school-age girls.
