IRIS MAENDELEO is a Congolese organization serving children and young people. Born against a backdrop of insecurity affecting food security, health, the environment and education in the DRC, children and young people are prime victims. Their well-being, however, is a vital factor in ensuring the prosperity of future generations in a sustainable world. The birth of this organization is a tribute to the actions of Swiss Christian couple Jürg and Iris Steinlin, who have been committed since 2020 to supporting vulnerable children and young people in Africa and around the world in the fields of education, food security and health-nutrition.
